Negative Numbers

 Over the last few maths lessons, the children have been learning about negative numbers. They have used number lines both vertically and horizontally. The children are becoming proficient at reasoning and justifying their answers. To enhance their understanding they played Tug of War with a twist.

French: conjugating the verb - jouer

 Year 5 revised the different genres of music and the names of different musical instruments. They identified jouer as a verb and practised saying the different verb endings with the matching personal pronouns, by pointing an each other where appropriate. They then completed some sheets filling in the correct ending of the verb.
