Year 5 Blog 2025/26

 Year 5 found out about how the French celebrate Easter, looking at some customs that are the same and different. They found out about the Carnaval de Nice, which is held annually. This year the theme was Vive la Reine.  The children then completed a word search using Easter 🐣 vocabulary. 

In  Year 5  we learned some new vocabulary.We also drew lines to match the word to the picture   Our class looked at a poem and highlighted the words we knew and drew a box around the IL words And circled the AU words. We also played a game where someone stood at the front of the class and In the classroom someone said a French word.The Person at the front of the class had to guess who said the French word. 5
