French: Being a language detective


In  Year 5  we learned some new vocabulary.We also drew lines to match the word to the picture   Our class looked at a poem and highlighted the words we knew and drew a box around the IL words And circled the AU words. We also played a game where someone stood at the front of the class and In the classroom someone said a French word.The Person at the front of the class had to guess who said the French word.

French: conjugating the verb - jouer

 Year 5 revised the different genres of music and the names of different musical instruments. They identified jouer as a verb and practised saying the different verb endings with the matching personal pronouns, by pointing an each other where appropriate. They then completed some sheets filling in the correct ending of the verb.
