French: using adjectives to describe the seasons

 Year 5 listened to Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, as they listened to each season, they used colour cards to choose colours to describe each season. They then added sentences to describe the weather in each season. They learnt some adjectives and their opposites to describe the weather. They filled this in on a sheet. These adjectives were later used to write sentences describing the seasons.

French: conjugating the verb - jouer

 Year 5 revised the different genres of music and the names of different musical instruments. They identified jouer as a verb and practised saying the different verb endings with the matching personal pronouns, by pointing an each other where appropriate. They then completed some sheets filling in the correct ending of the verb.
