Angles, angles every where

Over the last few weeks the children have been studying angles. They began by recapping the features of acute, obtuse and right angles from year 4 as well as identifying a reflex angle and a straight line. Using their knowledge of angles they have learnt how to measure accurately using a protractor. Their last lesson was so much fun as the children sellotaped their tables and measured the angles.

French: conjugating the verb - jouer

 Year 5 revised the different genres of music and the names of different musical instruments. They identified jouer as a verb and practised saying the different verb endings with the matching personal pronouns, by pointing an each other where appropriate. They then completed some sheets filling in the correct ending of the verb.
