French: the weather in the present and past tense

 We revised the weather in the present tense then we learnt the new verb in the past tense. Then we played a game where  we matched the past tense and present of weather with pictures.

We also cut out pictures of seasons and the weather to help us write a sentence in the past tense.

French: conjugating the verb - jouer

 Year 5 revised the different genres of music and the names of different musical instruments. They identified jouer as a verb and practised saying the different verb endings with the matching personal pronouns, by pointing an each other where appropriate. They then completed some sheets filling in the correct ending of the verb.
