Subtracting 2 mixed fractions

 We are nearly at the end of our fraction journey. The children have impressed me so much with their perseverance during this topic. 

Today, the children carried out a shorter lesson to hone their skills when subtracting mixed fractions and then they played a game:four in a row and the children loved it.

French: conjugating the verb - jouer

 Year 5 revised the different genres of music and the names of different musical instruments. They identified jouer as a verb and practised saying the different verb endings with the matching personal pronouns, by pointing an each other where appropriate. They then completed some sheets filling in the correct ending of the verb.
