French: building sentences

 In French we practiced the alphabet and sang a song about going to school.we also played a game of noughts and crosses about places. At the end of the lesson we built a sentence based on what we passed on our way to a location and we picked what we went past and what our location was.

French: conjugating the verb - jouer

 Year 5 revised the different genres of music and the names of different musical instruments. They identified jouer as a verb and practised saying the different verb endings with the matching personal pronouns, by pointing an each other where appropriate. They then completed some sheets filling in the correct ending of the verb.
