French: places on our route to school

In French we recapped the alphabet and then listened to a song about places we saw on the way to school.

We then labelled pictures in French like la rue and un hôpital. After that we used those words in a sentence to finish off the lesson.

French: conjugating the verb - jouer

 Year 5 revised the different genres of music and the names of different musical instruments. They identified jouer as a verb and practised saying the different verb endings with the matching personal pronouns, by pointing an each other where appropriate. They then completed some sheets filling in the correct ending of the verb.
