Christmas Fair tonight

 It has been a crazy week getting ready for the Christmas Fair. All three classes were busy making items ready to sell.

Traditionally, Hawthorn Class filled and wrapped 150 bottles ready for the wine tombola. Hazel Class made festive tins using serviettes, glitter and a glaze. While, Sycamore Class iced biscuits, these were very yummy and went down a treat with adults and children alike.

Over the last few week, Year 5 have been taking part in both athletics and basketball, engaging in a broad range of activities designed to develop their physical skills and deepen their understanding of each sport. French: conjugating the verb - jouer

 Year 5 revised the different genres of music and the names of different musical instruments. They identified jouer as a verb and practised saying the different verb endings with the matching personal pronouns, by pointing an each other where appropriate. They then completed some sheets filling in the correct ending of the verb.
