Monotype Printing

Today, the children experienced something new: Monotype printing and they thoroughly enjoyed it.

Using water based ink and a roller, the children spread the ink so it covered the page and was a consistent thickness. Then, they placed a clean sheet of paper on the top. Using a pencil, they drew autumnal shapes and applied different pressure to see how the shapes were visible.

A great lesson and thank you for cleaning up the mess!
